Elephant Walk
Situated in the beautiful, tranquil, country setting of Colleen Glen, Port Elizabeth, Elephant Walk was established in 1997 by owner & chef Nadia Damseaux. Elephant Walk boasts a restaurant, country pub, farm shop, chalet accommodation, antique shop and an indigenous nursery, making it a wonderful family destination.
Owner/Chef Nadia prepares all the meals herself, using the freshest ingredients, sourced from local suppliers. Vegetables and herbs are organically grown in the garden and are picked fresh daily. The menu offers a blend of Belgian French Cuisine and South African Venison. Speciality dishes range from Belgian Style Mussels, Fillet Bearnaisse, Roast Duck a l’ orange to Venison Fillet. The restaurant offers indoor seating, with a roaring fire for the cold winter nights and tranquil garden seating for warm, summer days.
The pub offers a pub menu, with additional seating in an enclosed wooden deck and an open deck. Big screen TV and data Projector Screen ensures patrons never miss out on the sporting action. Elephant Walk lends itself as an ideal country function venue for conferences, wedding receptions and all kinds of celebrations. Private seating areas are available.
